With 38 years of experience, Freddy Madrigal brings a naturalist’s knowledge, a photographer’s eye and a personal commitment to every journey he creates. A professional wildlife photographer, naturalist guide and Certified International Tour Manager (CITM), he combines thoughtful planning with attentive service and a deep understanding of birds and their habitats.
As founder of Freddy Madrigal Photography Expeditions, Freddy designs journeys around the species you dream of photographing, your interests and the way you enjoy traveling. He also cofounded Sueños Natura Bird Sanctuary-Costa Rica and its Hummingbird Therapy Garden, a retreat in Costa Rica’s highlands where exceptional bird photography opportunities meet welcoming hospitality and the tranquility of nature.
